The KH-7 Epsilon Team will become ‘The Truck of Dreams’ in Saudi Arabia.
As every year, during the first weeks of January one of the toughest and wildest tests in the motor world is disputed, where mental strength is key to its overcoming, the Dakar. This edition of the mythical rally is celebrated in Saudi Arabia for the first time in its 42 editions.
From Salvi lighting, we are very happy to support the KH-7 Epsilon Team with our sponsorship. But not only because Saudi Arabia is one of our strongest markets but because the new Epsilon Team initiative seems very commendable.
This year, Jose Luis Criado, Jordi Juvateny and Xavier Domenech return to the Dakar with more strength than ever. What is the formula of this force? The answer is in the team initiative this year. To be the connection link between two non-profit entities that serve people with disabilities. For more than three decades, Jose Luís Criado has been the patron of one of the non-profit organizations that serves people with intellectual disabilities in Catalonia, in order to enhance their well-being and that of their families, the FVO (Foundation Private Vallés Oriental). This is one of the motivations for which the Epsilon Team has decided to be the communication link between two similar entities of different cultures, but also because they firmly believe that, although we have different cultures, we are all equal and can learn from each other. . This is one of the main reasons why Salvi lighting decided to support the KH7 Epsilon Team.
The ‘Dream Truck’ will transport the crafts during the Dakar 2020 throughout Saudi Arabia to the rest stage, on January 11. That day, all the material will be delivered to the children of the Disabled Children’s Association, based in the town of Riyadh.
